After entering university, finding the same kind of people to play in a band with seemed to be a mission impossible. And then, like destiny, they heard electro music which, to them, was like an invincible black hole.. They were sucked right into the hole and wished to be eaten up alive!!! Jack Beats are on Hervé’s Cheap Thrills Records, they’re the duo behind the notorious Jack Beats remix of La Roux’s I’M NOT YOUR TOY and countless other remixes and productions that are on high rotations in clubs around the world.

They’re ripping up the UK club scene with their new wave of British house music. Wobbly basslines, big breakdowns and edgy accapella’s are cut, copied and pasted together to create a floor-filling brand of house. The longest water ride in South East Asia. Connected by 5 mid-air pools and multiple water tunnels. 400 meters in length, totaling up to 15mins of ride time. Open front beach view. Rated as the number one ride at Fantasia.

His musical range spreads through many genres, but electro is his passion. One thing to be sure, if he’s throwing down electro it’s going to come at you hard and make you bounce!

Growing up on hip hop, indie/grunge and 80’s electronica back in Canada… he moved into the scene in 2005 in Taichung, Taiwan, spinning nu breaks and electro/tech, but moved more towards the electro-grunge/fidget side of things… mashing up old electronica and 80’s indie-rock into the mix. Playing all over Taiwan, and hosting events including the free beach parties on Nan Wan during Spring Scream down in Kenting, as well as various SPIKED events in Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and Taipei. Also hosted a weekly after party in Taipei at club DV8 called RISE, followed by FLY sundays @ COCKY bar, bringing in the hottest Taiwanese and foreign djs together under one roof each week. vDub now spins mostly nu breaks, indie rock and electro-grunge, while occasionally throwing 80’s and retro/funk parties into the mix.
