Jack Beats are on Hervé’s Cheap Thrills Records, they’re the duo behind the notorious Jack Beats remix of La Roux’s I’M NOT YOUR TOY and countless other remixes and productions that are on high rotations in clubs around the world.

They’re ripping up the UK club scene with their new wave of British house music. Wobbly basslines, big breakdowns and edgy accapella’s are cut, copied and pasted together to create a floor-filling brand of house. Citing influences as diverse as Timbaland, Rage Against the Machine, A Guy Called Gerald and Sebastian, the two began to hone a style fusing House, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass and Dubstep with Electro and Baltimore Club, and what emerged was a cutting edge sound.
Support from major industry players Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, the Crookers and the entire blogsphere have propelled them to the next level in ‘09. They are currently finishing off their last remix of the year to start work on their debut album which will be released in May 2010. They are on a touring frenzy as they are a firm-favourite for lovers of all things glitchy and fidgety, and they’re on their way to TAIPEI FUCKING CITY!!!!

來自倫敦的JACK BEATS是由Beni G (Mixologists)和Plus One (Scratch Perverts) 兩位嘻哈音樂界的資深藝人所一起組成的創作雙人團體. Plus One於2001年抱走了DMC世界冠軍大賽冠軍奬杯, Beni G所屬的Mixologists團體也抱走2001年DMC世界大賽英國區的團體冠軍(世界第三)..

▓The Prodigy與The Music樂團台北演唱會唯一指定暖場DJ，張震嶽全美巡迴御用DJ，並曾與Paul Oakenfold、DJ Shadow、DJ Krush、James Lavelle(UNKLE)、Andy C、DJ Hype、DJ Craze、Fantastic Plastic Machine…等同台演出，2007年底更獲田中知之(Fantastic Plastic Machine)力邀赴日擔任在東京指標夜店Yellow舉辦之Grand Tourisme七週年派對的Guest DJ。2009上半年不僅兩度受邀至沖繩演出，七、八月時更分別與VERBAL(m-flo/Teriyaki Boyz)和Gaines在涉谷Trump Room與青山Le Baron de Paris同台DJ演出。
▓曾為Christian Dior、Marc Jacobs、Adidas Originals、Puma等知名時尚品牌Fashion Show擔任DJ，2006年兩次連同張震嶽、MC Hotdog兩度赴香港與時裝集團I.T.旗下品牌Fingercroxx合作舉辦爆滿的演出，2007年受邀擔任香港潮流品牌Protest於台灣、馬來西亞(Zouk)、香港(CIXI)三地所舉辦之四週年派對的指定DJ，2008年赴上海擔任好友李燦琛自家品牌Subcrew直營店Unity開幕Party的Guest DJ，2009年夏天則受邀至新加坡為New Balance x Leftfoot限定鞋款發表派對擔任特邀嘉賓DJ。

In the last year, party kids, students, and professionals alike have packed and frenzied dance floors as Shitdisco, Adam Freeland, Steve Aoki, 2 many Dj’s, and Diplo have all breezed through Taipei and left us all craving more of that crazy electro dance music.
Not only have these international DJ’s helped build this scene, but the local talent is widespread and needs to be showcased too!
Dancing Through Sunday launching a weekly Friday electro dance party (NEON Nights @ The Loft), AND we have a whole string of events coming up. We’ve been super busy!!! Help us bring you more electro! COME OUT AND DANCE!
在報告新聞之前, 讓我們先來回溯過去一年在 Shitdisco, Adam Freeland, Steve Aoki, 2 many Dj’s, Diplo, Designer Drugs, 大家是怎樣瘋狂的擠爆了舞池, 怎樣聚集丹田的力量嘶吼出DJ的名字, 怎樣爬到很高的人的背上騎馬打仗, 沒事來個大合唱, 點點點點點… 大家還記得吧??? 在這些狂風掃境的同時, 不僅僅台灣的 electro music經過些國際DJ的加持後, 開始有越來越多人follow.. 更令人欣慰的是, 經過各派對單位的努力, 越來越多優秀正點的本土DJ有了更多曝光的機會, 也得到越來越多粉絲的支持和推崇!!

These crazy kids warmed up a crowd of thousands for the Bloody Beetroots on New Years, and our minds were blown. Lapsap is electro music, clothing, and culture, all of which their coming armed with to Taiwan.

Playing alongside Treasure Fingers who is hot hot hot on A Trak’s FOOLS GOLD label, these guys are playing all electro, all night! But forget your dancing shoes unless they go with your bikini, as you’ll be jutting out of waterslides to the sweet tunes of Craze and Treasure Fingers.

The last Dim Mak party we threw, Luxy’s Galleria room turned into an electronic mosh pit to Steve Aoki WHOOP WHOOPING on stage. Ready to do that all over again? We danced our butts off along with thousands of screaming kids at the 48hr ReNu festival during Spring Scream last year when Felix first graced Taiwan with his presence, and now we’re doing it up proper in the North! 相信大家還記得去年12月Steve Aoki Dim Mak Party,大家在electro音樂中,whoop whoop聲中,擠爆了Luxy主廳..這次Felix Cartal專輯發表,帶著Dim Mak的牌子,即將二度來台!!!!
